Katrina Kish

I studied philosophy and English literature at California State University Fullerton. After graduating with my BA, I enjoyed some wandering years working as a teacher and social worker before returning to philosophy. My current research focuses on trust and distrust—what they are, the conditions under which they are virtuous and vicious, what it looks like for an individual to trust or distrust a group or institution (e.g., the police), and what it looks like for groups and institutions to trust or distrust other groups and institutions. My research interests include social, political, and virtue epistemology, feminist theory, social ontology, and moral and political philosophy.
