Tường Vi Nguyễn

Graduate Student

I am an autistic, non-binary, and first generation (graduate) student. I obtained my MA in Philosophy at Free University and my BA in Culture and Technology with a Major in Philosophy and a Minor in Art Science (at Braunschweig University of Art) at the Technical University of Berlin.

My primary areas of interest encompass Decolonial Philosophy, Epistemic Violence, and Black Radical Traditions, especially on Huey P. Newton (Co-founder of the Black Panther Party). I focus on critical phenomenology (queer phenomenology), Africana Philosophy and Buddhist philosophy (Thích Nhất Hạnh) in a framework of resistance movements or in other words, the necessity of proactive engagement. My secondary interests are philosophy of language, emotions, perception, and metaphysics of mind.

I love skateboarding.
