During the last 10 years, I served in the Coast Guard across the United States, ensuring maritime safety for domestic/foreign commercial vessels and their crewmembers and passengers, enforcing pollution laws, responding to environmental threats within the maritime domain, and facilitating the safe, efficient, and secure flow of commerce through U.S. ports by way of the maritime transportation system.

In my free time, I enjoy running long distances at slow paces, watching the Philadelphia Phillies, facetiming my nieces, and visiting lighthouses with my wife.
