Chad Hall
Graduate Student
I began my doctoral studies at UConn in 2024. My research areas are in philosophy of language and formal semantics. Presently, I am interested in conditionals and modals, especially counterfactual conditionals, and the various philosophical challenges associated with such expressions. I am also interested in logic, especially modal and other intensional logics, and am a member of the Logic Group at UConn.
Education:
B.A., Philosophy, Southern Methodist University
M.A., Philosophy, Texas Tech University
Hobbies:
In my spare time, you can find me watching college football and baseball, visiting historical sites (especially battlefields), reading, exploring bookstores, and enjoying the outdoors. All these activities I most enjoy doing with my wife.
