Chris Rahlwes & Mark Dickson: In Defense of Nonpropositional Truth

Mark Dickson, a current UConn PhD student, and Chris Rahlwes, a UConn alum and research associate have published a new paper in The Philosophical Forum. The article, titled “In Defense of Nonpropositional Truth” argues that truth should not only be restricted to propositions or their bearers. Instead, Rahlwes and Dickson suggest that nonpropositional accounts of truth are philosophically important, using evidence from non-European accounts of truth including the Tanakh and in Buddhism.
