In September of 2025, Lewis Gordon delivered the keynote speech at the American Sartre Society Meeting, which took place at LaVerne University. The conference focused on the thought of Sartre and Fanon. Click here for the conference schedule. There was also a session on Gordon’s work, which featured two alumni of the UConn Philosophy Department: Tom Meagher and Dana Miranda.
