Lewis Gordon: Featured in Viennese Jewish Museum Exhibit

The Viennese Jewish Museum (Jüdisches Museum Wien) has an exhibit based on Board of Trustees Distinguished Professor Lewis Gordon’s article “Rarely Kosher,” which focuses on “What color are Jews?”. Find more information on the Viennese Jewish Museum website.

Prof. Gordon also wrote a special essay for the catalogue, entitled “Eine Schwarz-jüdische Reflexion über die Hautfarbe von Juden” /  “A Black Jewish Reflection on the ‘Color’ of Jews,” in the catalog „(Welche) FARBEN (haben die Juden?)“,  / “(What) COLORS (Are The Jews?),” Jewish Museum Vienna (2025), 185–190. Das Jüdische Echo will also reprint the essay.
