We are proud to share that Professor Lewis Gordon recently delivered the Martha Nussbaum Distinguished Lecture at the annual conference of the Human Development and Capabilities Association (HDCA), held in Bradford, UK, on September 2, 2025.

His lecture, titled “Freedom, with Respect to Justice and Decolonization,” explored timely and critical themes at the intersection of philosophy, global justice, and decolonial thought.

This recognition reflects Professor Gordon’s continued leadership and influence in contemporary philosophy.
